Avenida Ixtapaluca (houses for mexico) is a video made by Jordi Colomer in one of the outskirt cities of Mexico City. This work examines the physical boundaries of the sprawling Mexican capital to contrast the perspective of urban planning with real life (or illusory) that runs through its streets.

For this project, CO producciones got funding from public entities (CoNCA, CCEMEX), and took charge of the executive production: working teams (shooting group: cameraman, sound technician, production assistant, still photographer, catering, driver), organized catering for actors and extras, rental of technical equipment (camera, helicopter, tyler), trips, transport and accommodation for the shooting. Also coordinated the postproduction (editing of sound and video and copying of masters HD-CAM).
In 2009, CO producciones coordinated the exhibition of Avenida Ixtapaluca (houses for mexico), press releases, transportation, insurance, etc. in galleries, museums and art centers in the following cities:

Brussels (BE): Galería MSSNDCLRCQ - Avenida Ixtapaluca. April 24th to May 23rd, 2009.
